No...it's not spiders, bees, snakes, or chlosterphobia...
I am afraid of people in masks.
It was funny how I realized this fear. I was hanging out with my friends and Jordon puts this shawl thing over his face...the wind was blowing so it was like sticking to his face. And he pretty much looked like a monster. I started FREAKING OUT! Like i seriously thought i was going to die! And it was funny because I knew that it was Jordan.

Then I remembered how about three years ago, around Halloween, in Lubbock a bunch of us went to the corn maze and we were like...
"Hey, let's pay eight bucks to walk through the haunted corn maze."
Now, something deep inside me really didn't want to go, but another part wanted to join in the fun. So me and two other people, Alyssa B and Travis went through together. And you know, it was like people jumping out with masks on and blocking you and chasing you.
IT JUST HAPPENED TO BE THE MOST FRIGHTENING
EXPERIENCE OF MY WHOLE LIFE! ~overdramatic~
And still today i think about that time, and i freak out. So now, every year at Halloween when there is all those masks in the stores and kids are walking around with masks on...something inside of me flips out and I seriously think those little kids in masks are going to attack me.
It's really ridiculous how stupid little fears in us development and how we hold on to them. I know that God does not want me to afraid of anything, because fears (even surface fears like spiders and masks) can hold us back from things He wants in our lives.
We talked in church a few weeks ago about having no fear. We have to understand our place in God and understand who God is. Now maybe at the time we were applying this to our spiritual lives but i think we can also apply it to petty little fears that we have. We just have to understand that God is bigger than bugs and scary people in masks. Like seriously...
So I've decided that I will get over my fears especially the one with people in masks because it's pretty much stupid.
